Use the venue layout editor

Add spaces to a venue layout, position them, and fill in what each one offers.

The layout editor is where you draw your venue's floor plan and add the spaces customers book — a room, a pavilion, a vendor stall. Open it from your venue dashboard's Layouts page: click Add layout template to start a new layout, or click Edit next to an existing one. From there you can add a space, move or resize it, fill in its details, switch between areas, or remove it.

Note

A brand-new layout offers to start from a map of your site. Click Skip to draw on a blank canvas instead, or Continue to trace a real map of your location.

Add a space

  1. In the toolbar, click Booth.
  2. It's added already selected, in the middle of the canvas. Drag it to where you want it.

Move or resize a space

  1. Click the space to select it.
  2. Drag it to reposition it, or drag a corner handle to resize it.

Edit a space's details

  1. Click the space to select it. The Properties panel on the right now shows Booth.
  2. Type a name or number into Booth ID.
  3. Set Width (ft) and Depth (ft).
  4. Turn on any Amenities it has: Electricity, Water Hookup, Shaded, Covered, Indoor or Vehicle Space.
  5. Add a Description — customers see this when they're choosing the space to book.
  6. To add a photo, click + Add image under Photos.

Switch or add an area

If your venue has more than one building, floor or section, split your layout into areas — only the one you're viewing shows on the canvas.

  1. Click away from any space so nothing is selected. The Properties panel on the right now shows Layout.
  2. Under Areas, use Working area to switch between areas, or click + Create area to add one.

Note

To rename or delete an area, click the pencil icon next to the Area dropdown in the Layers panel, on the left.

Delete a space

  1. Click the space to select it.
  2. In the toolbar, click Delete.

Note

You can't delete a space with a vendor already booked into it.

Good to know

Nothing is saved until you click Save, top right. Exit, beside it, leaves the editor and takes you back to the Layouts page.
