Gold Leaf Premium Foods Inc. grows living microgreens indoors in Vancouver, BC, year-round. What makes us unusual at a market is that we do not cut our product: we sell whole living trays, rooted and still growing in their media. The customer keeps the tray on the counter and harvests with scissors as they cook, so aroma, colour and crispness peak in their own kitchen rather than in transit. Nothing is cut, washed or packaged by us. One tray keeps for one to two weeks and finishes 20-30 dishes. We are a primary producer - everything we sell is grown by us from seed in British Columbia, and we resell nothing. Because we grow indoors we are not seasonal: the same product is available in January as in July. Certified under the Province of British Columbia's Buy BC program, certification 26C-1959. Incorporated in British Columbia on 26 November 2025, BC1564872, Business Number 720462365, registered for GST under 720462365 RT0001. FoodSafe Level 1 is held within our team, and we carry $5,000,000 commercial general liability insurance.

Extended Growing Season
Our microgreens are grown indoors in a clean, controlled environment, year-round, from seed. We use no pesticides, herbicides or insecticides at any stage. Nothing is cut, washed, packaged or processed by us: trays go to market alive and rooted in their growing media, and the customer harvests at home. The ingredient list is short - seed, growing media, water and light, with nothing added, and a good deal of love. Because the crop is never cut before sale, there is no cold chain and no post-harvest degradation.
