Emberloft Flavor Labs is a small-batch spice blend company based in Portland. I make ten original spice blends by hand, each designed around a specific moment in the cooking process — when to add it, what changes under heat, and what improves after resting.
The mission behind Emberloft is culinary education. Every blend comes with clear guidance on how to use it and why it works, so cooks build real confidence in the kitchen rather than just following recipes. At my booth, each blend is available to smell and explore, and every conversation is an opportunity to help someone understand their cooking a little better. The goal is for people to leave knowing something useful whether or not they buy anything.
I'm a start-up business and the owner-operator. I formulate, blend, and package everything myself in Portland and sell personally at every market. I'm currently vending at the Beaverton Farmers Market and have been accepted at the Gresham and Hillsboro markets for their upcoming seasons.
All blends are packaged in 4 oz glass jars. Individual jars are $15, any two for $27, any three for $40.
