Description

Thank you for your interest in joining the Squamish Farmers Market! Please give yourself approximately 10 minutes to complete this form. Please provide as much detail as possible, and include any relevant forms or pieces of information.

Some application tips to speed up your application process:

  • Please ensure your Marketspread Vendor Profile is up to date with your email, phone number and a bio. 

  • Unfortunately, you cannot save and come back to the application later.

  • Uploading as many documents as possible within your application will speed up your application process!

After you've completed your application: Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted via email with your date approval, invoice, and request for further documents as needed.  We have a very small team, and getting through the volume of applications we receive can take some time. You will hear back whether you are accepted or not.

Market Dates & Location:
Our Winter Market runs from 7th November - 19th December 2026, 6th March - 24th April 2027 from 10am - 2pm in downtown Squamish next to Junction park. Click HERE for google maps location.


Stall Fees: 

  • 10’ X 10’ – $55 per market (+GST)

  • 10’ X 10’ – $40 per market (+GST) Farm only

  • Food Truck – $77 per market (+GST)

            Required Documentation: You do not have to have these documents upon applying, but for your information, upon acceptance, here is what you might need:

  Insurance:

  • All vendors require insurance. You will be asked to attach a copy of your current insurance policy. 

  • The Squamish Farmers Market and  our location must be included as additionally insured on your policy. 


 Food/Beverage Vendors:

  • Any vendors selling food must be well versed in and compliant with the BCCDC's Guidelines for Sales at Temporary Food Markets and must provide documentation of approval from Vancouver Coastal Health (or equivalent health authority) whether your product is low or high risk:

    • Low Risk Food Vendors require Lab Testing results to confirm their products are low risk, or an email from their Health Authority confirming that their products are low risk. 

    • High Risk Food Vendors must acquire a Letter of Confirmation from THEIR regional Health Authority.

  • Vendors preparing/cooking food or beverages on site will need a Temporary Food Premises Permit from Our Regional Health Authority (VCH). You must also follow vendor requirements from the Squamish Fire Department

  • All food (including pet food) vendors require a valid Food Safe.


 Alcohol:

  • Alcohol vendors must provide Market Authorization from the LCRB

  • Alcohol vendors must provide a valid Serving it Right.


 Food Trucks: 

  • If you are operating a food truck or cooking onsite, you must have a valid Fire Decal from the Squamish Fire Department.

  • You must have a valid Permit To Operate from your Regional Health Authority.

  • You must have a valid Squamish Business License

  • You must have a valid Food Safe.


 Spa/Beauty Products:
If you are selling spa or beauty products, you will need to provide a Canada Health Cosmetics Number for ALL products that are absorbed via skin. Policies: Make, Bake, Grow:
As we are a member market of the BC Association of Farmers' Markets, all products must be made, baked, or grown in BC by the vendor. Farm visits may be conducted to learn to better inform our market shoppers about your products, build our connections with local producers in BC, and create advertising materials for our market/your farm.

Make, Bake Grow Policy:
As we are a member of the BCAFM, all products must be made, baked, grown or wild harvested in BC by the vendor. Farm visits may be conducted to learn to ensure this criteria is met, better inform our market shoppers about your products, build stronger relationships with our producers and, with consent, create marketing materials for vendor and market use.

Market Guidelines:
We ask that you please take the time to carefully read our Market Vendor Guidelines. There are some very important rules in our Guidelines that you must follow in order to maintain status as an active vendor at SFM, including payment of stall fees, cancellation and lateness policies, and signage policies. These guidelines are updated every season as needed, and are enforced.
