I take second hand and vintage textiles and upcycle them into useful and households items. Such as aprons, reusable bags, runners, stockings, jackets, and more.

My Nana always loved a bargain and got me into thrifting/yard saleing when I was young. We would get up early on Saturdays and head out for the morning. It was always a favorite activity of mine and I carried it into adult hood. I personally found the sustainability movement in 2016 and started focusing on reusing and repurposing. I asked my Nana to teach me how to sew since she had always mended our broken clothes. Unfortunately she passed away before we had the chance to get together for those lessons. I inherited her sewing machine, became determined to figure it out, and took a class at the library. Since then, I have thrifted used materials such as pillow cases, sheets, curtains, etc and have used sewing to repurpose them into new items. It has been a blast and I am always finding new things to make. Creating textiles is a large use of water and other resources, so it feels good to not only keep these items out of the landfill but find new uses for them.
