Give and Grow Mushrooms

Established in 2011, Give and Grow Mushrooms has transformed from a small idea to a scaleable mushroom farm. In the beginning we wanted to offer a "grow at home" mushroom kit that was simple, easy and fun. After development and marketing of our mushroom kits at "Home and Garden" shows and our early presence at Eastern Market we learned that even though our customers enjoyed growing their own mushrooms, what they really wanted was for us to do the growing. And so we became farmers! 3 moves later we are now in Chesterfield township in Macomb county. We produce hundreds of pounds of mushrooms per week, offering several different species. Our knowledge and passion for growing, foraging and cooking mushrooms has been inspired by the needs and demands of our customers. We strive to be your mushroom purveyor, offering you the finest quality mushrooms for your culinary masterpieces. We are certified "wild mushroom experts" through The State of Michigan Department of Agriculture. Every market day you can expect us to offer at least 1 fresh wild mushroom and in the spring and fall as many as 11 different varieties of wild mushrooms. Morels, Morels and more MORELS!!! March thru June every Market Day we have your supply of fresh morels. We will teach you how to clean them and how to cook them, no problem! Wild Greens...Ramps, Fiddlehead Ferns, Stinging nettles, minors lettuce and more.
