Our passion for phenomenal baked goods is the reason for everything we do in our bakery and our community.
Our Mission is to be loose and have fun, bake phenomenal bread, run fast to help customers, create strong & exciting bakeries and give generously to others.
We bake our bread fresh at our Burke bakery for the Farmers Markets and our Lorton Bakery & Cafe. We start each day with freshly milled wheat. This way the wheat is fresh and retains the most protein, vitamins and minerals. We bake all of our breads and sweets from scratch using wholesome ingredients. Ingredients that you recognize and can pronounce and they are probably in your kitchen at home.
Great Harvest Bread Co. in Burke is a woman owned company and has been in business since 2004. We offer a wide variety of freshly baked from scratch whole grain breads, mixes, granolas, and an assortment of sweets and cookies.
In the picture, you will see us demonstrating our mill to a school group who is having a tour of our bakery.
