Ben Chaprut
Bruncle Ben’s Bounty is a New England food business devoted to the bold, distinctive flavors of the region’s perennial landscape. Founded by Ben Chaprut, the business celebrates overlooked local foods like black walnuts and other tree crops, along with wild and seasonal ingredients that have long been part of the Northeast but are rarely seen in modern markets.
Rooted in a love of foraging, gardening, and regional food traditions, Bruncle Ben’s Bounty focuses on small-batch products that showcase what New England’s woods, hedgerows, and backyard trees can offer. From black walnut baked goods to other specialty foods inspired by the local landscape, each product is made to highlight flavors that feel deeply tied to place, season, and tradition.
Ben brings more than 14 years of process development and manufacturing experience to his work, combining technical skill with curiosity and creativity in the kitchen. The result is a line of carefully crafted foods that help reconnect people with the rich potential of perennial crops and wild ingredients in New England.
