About
The Wagging Club is an all-inclusive pet resort in the Carrollwood neighborhood of Tampa. We provide personalized and enriching daycare, boarding, spa services, as well as homemade pet treats for our customers. After a full day of activity at our facility, including time playing in our splash pad, we offer an abundance of love and a delicious homemade treat. We are a family-owned and operated business, run by two sisters and their mother, with a deep love of animals and cooking. Catherine has worked in the pet industry for 10 years, learning all there is to know about caring for dogs and cats. Some of her favorite gifts are cookbooks for dogs, received from her nieces and nephews. Becton often spends time with her children caring for animals and experimenting in the kitchen to create different treats for them. Their mother, Rhyne, is a self-taught cook who doesn’t always follow the recipe but always provides a delicious finished meal or product. She also has a huge heart for rescue animals and enjoys volunteering with local rescue groups. The Wagging Club is truly a family passion and endeavor to provide the care and experience we would want for our own pets when they aren’t with us. At The Wagging Club, we make sure all our furry friends Wag the Day Away!
Production Practices
We take the best, all natural ingredients to bake delicious and nutritious treats for all our furry friends. We have a spacious kitchen at our facility where we create these treats. An example recipe is below. All our pups that visit us for daycare and boarding enjoy these treats, and we feel better sharing them knowing the ingredients are good quality and healthy for them.
1 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup of oatmeal
2 eggs
3 cups of flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Mix ingredients, flour counter space, roll out dough, use dog bone cookie cutter to shape treats. Lay bones out on parchment lined cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool on cookie rack.
We use variations to each of our treats using other ingredients dogs find delicious like dog friendly peanut butter, honey, broths, apple, and more.

Catherine is the owner/manager of The Wagging Club. She has been in the pet industry business for 13 years and can't get enough of being surrounded by animals every days. She strives to create a personalized, positive environment for our customers. One of the ways we show how much we love our customers is baking them homemade treats while they are in our care. After seeing how much they enjoy them, Catherine wanted to share these treats with the community. She looks forward to meeting the community at the markets and sharing these delicious treats with our furry neighbors.
