As a freelance photographer residing in the heart of Saint Petersburg, Florida, I am dedicated to capturing the essence and charm of this vibrant city and the surrounding cities through my camera lens. All my images are taken, edited, printed and matted/framed for sale by me. All my images are local and primarily from Downtown Saint Petersburg and the local beaches. My goal is to represent as many places as possible from all along our West Coast (Tarpon Springs all the way down to Bradenton) and into Tampa Bay. The majority of my images are taken before, during and just after Sunrise and Sunset. I aim to provide locals and visitors alike with high-quality "professional-like" photography at an affordable price. I love being able to provide people with a piece of local art that can be hung in their home, either as a memory of their time in Florida or simply to remind locals of the beauty that surrounds them. All of my images can be printed on a large scale up to 24x36 by request.

My name is David Stansel. I started my photography journey in 2023 as only a hobby, but quickly realized that I had discovered my passion and a way to express myself. I used photography as a way to open up the world to me. There is a saying about photography, it goes: "The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera." This is what photography has done for me. I also quickly realized that photography was an expensive hobby! So, with the encouragement and help from others, I decided to start exploring ways to earn money from my passion so I can continue to invest in high-quality camera equipment. I discovered the various markets around Pinellas county and saw an opportunity. I did not see many photographers selling their work at these markets. So, I began vending at the Corey Avenue Sunday Market at St Pete Beach in June of 2024 and have never looked back! Now that I have sufficient experience vending at these markets, I would like to participate in as many as I can!
