Cristine Thoresen is the founder and owner of ABOUT TIME Creamery, an ice cream food truck that offers gourmet and organic hard packed ice cream. You can find Cristine many days on the truck serving, neighborhoods, churches, and corporate events scooping many flavors such as Cookie Monster, Unicorn Poop, and Mint Chocolate Chip just to name a few.
Cristine has over 29 years operating restaurants. It goes back to when Cristine was just 16 and her parents owned three sandwich franchises. Cristine graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Food service Management. Cristine managed many restaurants including Outback Steakhouse, Houston’ s Steakhouse, and Pizzeria Uno. Cristine’s career evolved over the years working in many different positions including retail, banking, and education. She believes these experiences have helped grow the food truck into a successful business. Cristine always finds her way back to the food industry. You can say; it’s Cristine’s passion.
When Cristine is not making or serving ice cream you can find her spending time with her 2 children, Caryn and Zachary, and her husband Keith. Cristine and Keith also enjoy working out, cruising the ocean, and working the business together.
