About

Reclamation Foods is reclaiming our cultural wisdom around food - that means restoring healthy soils and maximizing every animal harvest to nourish our community. Our mission is to build a climate-positive food system that promotes regenerative agriculture, regional farming and processing, and whole-animal nutrition to bring you real, wholesome foods rooted in culture.

Our flagship product is a Korean-style bone broth in two flavors, beef and pork. Each is made with just two ingredients: bones and water. The magic is in the time and temperature and the quality and type of bones, resulting in an umami-rich broth versatile enough to use in any sauce, noodle, or rice dish, or even broth-based lattes! Season to your liking for your perfect sipping broth. Or use it to elevate any recipe that calls for water.

Our award-winning broths are now available in shelf stable jars!

Soon, we will also be launching traditional cooking fats sourced from pasture-raised, grass-fed animals to help you reclaim your kitchen and your health.

In 2019, I left a career in tech to apprentice on a regenerative livestock farm in the south. I went from New York City and San Francisco to a 100-person town in Georgia, and I learned all about animal husbandry and the in's and out's of the American meat industry. One thing that stood out to me was how much of the animal we waste - almost half a cow and a third of a pig are considered "inedible" in the US. Meanwhile, every culture has a traditional way to use almost every part of the animal for food. So after returning to New York, I started Reclamation Foods with the mission of reclaiming our cultural wisdom around food and maximizing every animal harvest. We are working to get farmers paid for more of the animal, support regenerative practices that restore healthy soils, and produce wholesome foods rooted in culture.
