About

Manakin Market is one of Virginia's most authentic farmers markets. Our regular market season runs every Saturday, 9:00am-1:00pm from May-October. We offer a huge variety of fresh local fruits & vegetables, pastured meats and poultry, a wide assortment of baked goods, high quality artisan crafts, textile products, pet treats, flowers and plants, local wines, and much, much more. Live music, special events, food trucks and more. We are located under a beautiful old grove of trees, and we have picnic tables and LOTS of shade. Bring the kids and the dog and come enjoy the "Rural Oasis next to the Concrete Jungle"! We are locate just 5 minutes west of Short Pump at 68 Broad Street Road in Manakin Sabot, VA.

Our farmers markets are operated by RVAg, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization run by paid staff and governed by an all-volunteer board. Our markets operate without any county or federal funding. We rely solely on vendors fees, sponsorships and fundraising efforts to run our seasonal and pop-up markets and low cost/no-cost educational programs.

Additional Location Information:

We are located 5 minutes west of Richmond's Short Pump, just 1.8 miles west of Route 288 in Goochland County.
