I have spent the last 25 years of my life trying to recover my health. After a series of accidents and injuries that left me almost completely disabled, FOOD has been my medicine, and still is to this day.

My journey to recover my health led me to discover organic gardening, and eventually to sustainable agriculture. My passion for sustainably grown organic food has driven me full circle, from my upbringing in the middle of Amish country in Ohio, to the role where good, genuine food create deep community bonds.

Over the last decade, I have used my skills as an organizer, influencer, planner, motivator, marketing guru, enthusiast, farmer, lover of people and FOOD, to develop a source of fresh, quality, local, sustainably grown, REAL FOOD for our community in the form of a farmers market. I have founded, managed, and done consulting for numerous farmers markets.

I have a degree in Horticulture and a Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture.

I am excited to be directing RVAg, a non-profit that provides market venues and agriculture education, where I can now share my vision.
