OnTheSquareVA Farmers Market is a weekly farmers market located adjacent to Capitol Square, as a part of the Governor's employee engagement initiative - OnTheSquareVA. Managed by Sherrybee, the market provides mainly government workers with a Thursday lunchtime market, although the market is open to the public at large. We carry a wide assortment of local, seasonal produce, fruits & berries, cheeses, baked goods, prepared foods, honey, plants, and a few artisan crafts. We offer a variety of lunch items and provide educational exhibits and demonstrations as well as live music throughout the season.
