Native Red Mulberry (Morus rubra)

Small to medium-sized deciduous tree that grows to 35–50 feet tall. Prefers full sun. Early pruning needed to develop a sturdy framework. Relatively hardy to drought, pollution, and poor soil. Pollinated by the wind. Uses: berries are edible and sweet.
