I make beaded earrings, bracelets, and necklaces with a silversmith twist. Some of my defining pieces include large handmade sterling silver hoops that I bead glass seed beads onto and my beaded lariat necklace with a handmade sterling silver charm and hoop (pictured in several posts on my instagram). I love color blocking as opposed to intricate patterns and my metal work is a key part of what sets me apart from other beaders.
I source my beads from a Colorado local bead store in Durango, Beads and Beyond. I source my sterling silver, brass, and gold metals from Rio Grande, a New Mexico based jewelry supplier. I get my packaging from Ecoenclose in an effort to use as environmentally friendly packaging as I can and I generally try to be on the minimalist side of packaging.
I make all of my jewelry by hand. I do all the beadwork and nearly all the metalwork (apart from the clasps and crimp beads I use on necklaces). I am a Crested Butte local of 7 years and have been beading for about 10 years now. In the past year, I have started my LLC and finished my first full season of markets in 2023 in town, working with both Artists of Crested Butte and the Crested Butte Farmer’s Market.
