Description
These gluten free & vegan tamales are made of corn dough filled with onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, chickpeas, spinach, cilantro, chipotle sauce; wrapped in a plantain leaf, wrapped in foil, and steamed until the tamale dough is barely firm. Served hot by removing from foil, pulling back the plantain leaf, and smothered in your choice of mild or hot salsa.
These can also be purchased frozen (when available) to be steamed on your own time, or pre-ordered in bulk for your next gathering.
