Morels- Fire, Green

The informally dubbed "green morel" has a subtle gem-like radiance, especially when young. It is often the last variety to grow. It combines the attributes of the conica and grey morels; thick meaty flesh, with a smokier flavor. The only drawback is that this mushroom is a target for critters, so don't delay in cooking it. Use within the first few days you get it home, and always store in the fridge.
