Super Dishes

Hello! My name is Huda. I came to Canada four years ago, and I find it a very beautiful country. Egyptian food is not popular or well-known in Vancouver, so I decided to present my culture through cuisine. It was not until I came here that I became very proud of my Egyptian culture, which is vibrant, historic, and one of the most ancient in the world. I’m excited to introduce my culture with pride, by sharing my food with my new welcoming and diverse community. The smell of food in the oven reminds me of my childhood, and makes me happy—it’s a way to bring back lost days, and create a new sense of home.
