Living Tree Foods Ltd.

Living Tree Foods is an emerging plant-based food company that develops, manufactures, and sells vegan versions of traditionally non-vegan products that are tastier and healthier than their animal-derived counterparts.

LTF was founded in May, 2020 by Kyle McKay and Emily Wilson; who met at UBC’s Peter A. Allard School of Law. Emily is a lifelong vegetarian/vegan with a background in the premium CPG space. Kyle, having previously lived on a dairy farm, was surprised at how delicious vegan food could be. We started experimenting with recipes and selling at farmers’ markets. After an excellent reception, we decided to forgo our legal careers (at least for the time being) to pursue this opportunity.

Products include: cultured dairy-free cheese spreads; plant-based raviolis; cultured dairy-free yogurts; carrot-based 'salmon lox' alternative.

Starting this fall, we are looking sell fresh, hot pasta for take away.
