Helmer Organic Farm

Family owned certified organic farm using bio-dynamic practices. Main crop is potatoes. Eggs,honey, and in-season vegetables also produced. Fertility for the potato crop is derived from green legume and grass cover crops, long rotations, continuous mulching of green manure cuttings and application of BD preparations. Vegetables receive the same treatment with the addition of composted BD manure to the soil.
