Authentic homemade Indonesian peanut sauce made from scratch. Two varieties offered: 1) Traditional style- made with fermented shrimp paste and 2) Vegan style- soybean replaces the shrimp paste. Comes in 3 spice levels, Mild* Medium* and Hot* ( spicy)
Easy to make by adding just boiled hot water to create an unique sauce to be used as a salad dressing, dipping sauce or finishing sauce. Recommended not to be used as a marinade because it is made from fresh peanuts and will burn like garlic producing a bitter taste.
Follow a 2:1 ratio of sauce, 2 parts sauce mix to 1 part hot water. Use what you need and anything left over in the dry form, place in refrigerator and it will last a year.
