The Craft Factory

The Craft Factory is a place for imagination and creativity! We are a community gathering space, located in North Portland, for crafters of all ages. Hosting open-studio hours, birthday parties, workshops, pop-ups, and other special events. We also offer Crafts To-Go as a way of providing The Craft Factory experience at home. Each craft kit is individually and uniquely made, with love, by us.

We craft using up-cycle and recycled materials. Our motto is “ Make art, not garbage!” Many items that you may consider to be garbage or recycling can be given a beautiful new life with just a bit of creativity. Things like: bottle caps, cardboard, foil, rocks, dried flowers, fabric, sticks, and branches make
great craft supplies.

Our team members giving The Craft Factory experience on-site! We will set up crafting tables and supply base shapes (variety available) as well as a selection of embellishments (both recycled materials and new craft items). Cordless hot glue guns will be used to affix all chosen materials on to the bases to create one-of-kind mixed-media collage pieces.

The embellishments we bring are a combination of both recycled materials and more traditional craft materials of all shapes and sizes. Supplies are meant to fit the style of the base while promoting the use of creativity.

We also offer Craft To Go Kits, which are small batch craft kits put together by our team. This is for those attending the market that would prefer to take their crafting project home with them or give as a gift!
