Indian Meridian Land & Cattle LLC

We are a small family owned and operated farm in Jones, OK. We raise grass fed American Akaushi cattle. We follow all guidelines mandated to be able to participate in the VAC 45 program sponsored by Oklahoma State University. Akaushi cattle produce a richer, more buttery, marbled cut with flavorful fat strands in the steaks. These cows do extremely well on just grass. A significant difference is how our cows are raised. We prioritize a low to no stress environment to produce a high quality product, taking into account that todays consumers are more aware and interested in the treatment of animals. The cows have continuous access to pasture. The calfs stay with their mothers until weaned. We keep a closed herd, except for a vaccinated and vet checked bull during the breeding season. We're licensed by the Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry to sell beef directly to the consumer.
