Venezuelan born, Ottawa raised, Natali Harea has been active in the local food scene for almost a decade. She is a professionally trained chef, an alumni of Algonquin College’s Culinary Management program. She has worked for many of Ottawa’s top food destinations, including: The Black Cat Bistro, The Urban Element, Navarra by Rene Rodriguez, and Beckta Dining and Wine. Natali was always drawn to the bread program of the restaurants she worked for, and in 2014, Natali decided to dedicate her career exclusively to the production of well-crafted bread, opening Nat’s Bread Company. Nat’s Bread Company is a wholesale bakery specializing in artisanal, all natural, old world bread. Her products can be found in Ottawa’s most discerning food shops and restaurants. As of March 2020, Nat's Bread is also available for private home delivery, and can be purchased every summer at our many farmer's market locations.
