High Falls Extracts was launched May of 2018. Our start-up is on a mission to set the highest standards for consumer products and professional operations in the industry. Our quality system starts with testing each lot and making those reports available to our customers. In addition, our focus on compliance with marketing, regulatory and legal practices, will be an example of best practices in the industry. all of our products are third-party lab tested.
The company was started by my wife and I Tricia Horst, we successfully grew hemp on 4+ acres and has launched a marketing company, High Falls Extracts, which sells CBD rich products in the pursuit of wellness. Our mission is to provide wellness/CBD products to our local area from hemp and support our veteran community.

Rick Weissman and Tricia Horst
Rick Weissman along with his wife Tricia Horst founded High Falls Agriculture and High Falls Extracts in November 2017 and February 2018 respectively and focuses on these businesses full time since their inception.Rick is a 30+ year veteran of the bond business. Rick was a Managing Director of Institutional Mortgage and Asset Backed Sales at the following firms: Gleacher Securities (2008-2013), RBS Greenwich Capital Markets (1994-2008), Nomura Securities (1989-1994) and LF Rothschild and Co (1986-1989). Since September 2016 as a Managing Director at Other Side Capital (OSC), Rick focused on investing in legal hemp and marijuana ventures, during which times he learned the economics of the hemp/CBD and marijuana businesses. OSC stopped pursuing these types of investments at the end of 2017.
Tricia’s career as a photo model, started at age 11. During her illustrious career, Tricia represented Coppertone, DeBeers Diamonds, Covergirl Cosmetics, Oil of Olay, Camay Soap, Clairol, Macy’s, Lord and Taylor, Nordstrom's, Saks Fifth Avenue and many more. Decades ago, Tricia bought the property which is now one of the grow sites in High Falls, New York. Over the last 6 years Tricia and her husband, Rick Weissman, gained experience with light agriculture in the High Falls area.They managed a ¼ acre garden on their property in High Falls. This experience has given Tricia and Rick an appreciation for the local environment and the obstacles which need to be managed for farming in the local environment.
