The making of our triple distilled VODKOW vodka involves an innovative process that converts unused milk sugars (a by-product of the dairy industry) into an incredibly smooth spirit. During the dairy process, the sugar in milk (lactose) is separated from the fats and proteins. This by-product (milk permeate), is typically discarded or used for animal feed. Making vodka using milk permeate is more efficient than using traditional ingredients such as grains or potatoes. On the cream product side, VODKOW produces a family of delicious "lactose free” cream liquors available in: Coffee, Maple, Chocolate and Vanilla in addition to our seasonal flavours: Coconut, Mango, Strawberry, Banana, Pumpkin Spice, Eggnog, London Fog, and Chocolate Orange .We pride ourselves on our innovative processes, using local ingredients, supporting the Ontario Dairy Industry, being environmentally friendly as well as making everything "in-house" at our distillery in Almonte, Ontario.
