Our farm has been family owned and operated since Chris England purchased it over 25 years ago. After years of eating his own farm raised meat, the idea of opening up a small meat processing plant came to him. After years of construction, Down Home Processing opened for business in 2015 and soon after became a certified USDA processing plant. Down Home Processing and Farms operated by Chris and his children. We offer a wide variety of cuts available for retail purchase. You can also call and place an order for fresh meat or a specific request. All of our meat comes from our family farm raised Black Angus Beef. We age our beef anywhere from 12 to 15 days before processing it for our customers.
