Our farm story started in 2021. During the pandemic my wife and I found new hobbies and interests. We're both avid gardeners and while working around the yard we began noticing several types of mushrooms growing all around. We became curious and started to study the fascinating science of mycology and started growing various kinds of gourmet mushrooms for our personal use and sharing with some close friends and family who ultimately encouraged us to do something bigger. So Little River was formed. We currently supply a couple of local chefs and are ramping up our production so we can supply anyone that is interested in using organic, freshly picked, delicious gourmet mushrooms.
