Colonial Shrubs

Colonial Shrubs started while working with a friend who makes and sells organic sauerkraut, hot sauces and kvass. Shrubs were discussed one evening and this piqued my interest. I began to research the shrub making process, bought some fruit, apple cider vinegar with the mother and cane sugar and began experimenting with recipes in my home.
Once I produced a product that I thought was enjoyable, I began sharing with friends and family, who immediately became “hooked”.
I then started producing the shrubs in a certified kosher and organic commercial kitchen, from which I rent time and refrigeration space. I have been in production at the commercial kitchen for the last year and a half. I use all organic or local wild harvested ingredients.
