Kell Squires Pastures

Kell Squires Pastures, located in Sheridan, Indiana, was created by Mike and Tiffany Squires with the goal of taking control of their health by raising poultry in a healthy and sustainable way.

KSP's mission is to help restore the health of our planet's soil with regenerative farming and inspire others to do the same.

These chickens start out in the brooder for the first 2-3 weeks where they are safe and cozy, while they grow their adult feathers that will help protect them from the elements when they go out to pasture. After that, they are transported to the pasture to live in a mobile coop for the next 4-5 weeks, being moved to fresh grass each day, giving them the opportunity to forage for their natural diet of grass, grubs, clover, worms, and bugs. The chickens also enjoy non-GMO feed from a local grain mill. After 8 weeks, the chickens are brought to J & M Poultry in Cambridge, IN for processing, a state-certified facility, where they package the birds in vacuum sealed bags.
