Hi, I am the founder of Backyard Candles. I grew up in South Windsor, CT in a very entrepreneurial environment. After graduating from UConn in 2017 with a degree in Digital Marketing I worked in Madison at a Digital Marketing Agency. Due to sitting in a chair all day I started to experience neck and back pain. I began my search for a nature remedy and found aromatherapy. From there I began creating candles to enjoy aromas that would improve my conditions. After a year of pursing candle making on the side I quit my job to pursue candle making full time. My favorite part about my job is sharing these aromas with people in my community, which have a positive impact on their daily life.
