Process Objects

After years of creative exploration using glass and metal, Kristen started Process Objects in 2023 as an outlet for sharing her work. Influenced by the process of making, the materials themselves often serve as a guide for her handcrafted jewelry and home goods.

The jewelry designs involve making stones from scratch out of casted glass that are then set in silver metal. By embracing the imperfections and marks that occur when using various tools and techniques, each wearable piece is truly one of a kind.

For her line of glass home goods, she focuses on the design elements of pattern, color and texture, intending to bring joy to the everyday functional and nonfunctional art objects found throughout our living spaces.

All objects are made in small batches, ensuring quality over consumption and are created at her home studio located in Portland, OR.
