Sleepy Hollow High School Science Research

Some of our SHHS science research students have taken an interest in farming, ornithology, composting, etc, and I thought the TASH farmers' market would be an ideal place for them to share their ideas with the community. Students are in various stages of research. For some we may be able to bring a poster, for others we may be able to bring artifacts or some visual display of their work.
Some of the projects I hope to bring include: research on how melatonin relieves drought stress on plants, the impact of deer management on the wood thrush, the benefits of vermicast as a fertilizer, the ability of mealworms to consume styrofoam, etc.
