Original pieces that are not mass produced. All items are sewn in my studio, designed, drafted, constructed and finished all under one roof. Eco-Fashion Designer, focused on generating less waste and minimizing the impact of fast fashion by upcycling materials, repurposing garments, and creating entirely new end use products through mixed media of goods/materials. (We are NOT focused on selling second hand goods or vintage items.)
After 3 yrs as a Police Officer, I decided that wasn't a career path I was passionate about.
So instead, (with some help from my sister-in-law and support of my now husband) I took the leap and jumped into pursuing a second degree focused on my love of textiles. After receiving my B.F.A in Fashion Deisgn, I spent the next 11 years in retail and dabbled in costume design in my spare time.
If you've ever worked in retail you get burned out and I quickly needed resuscitating. Logically, of course I figured let's travel the world as a Flight Attendant in the middle of COVID. Comical I know! Yet, after 3 years on that path it kept pulling me back to my core of creativity, ingenuity, and expression through the craft of sewing.
Here I am, focused on eco-friendly fashion design, upcycling, repurposing and leaving one less harmful footprint on our precious earth.
