I have been in the food and hospitality business for over a decade. We started a tropical food truck up north and competed in many competitions and catered several weddings. When we moved to Florida in 2016 I took a job as a traveling chef doing live cooking shows at festivals and big events. When Covid came all of my shows were cancelled. I told my husband that I wanted to sell coconuts on the beach. That’s when the Surfing Coconut was born. I started with a small coconut stand at the Beach Market on Anna Maria Island and I’ve now expanded. We do the market at LWR on Sundays and we also do the Main Street Market in LWR in season. We love providing our customers with fresh delicious hydrating coconuts!
