Our son, Chris, has Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and has written, co-illustrated, and published 4 books. At events Chris sells his books and handmade artwork to bring awareness. Chris enjoys sharing his message, “We’re all different, let’s embrace it!” to encourage others to value themselves and pursue their dreams. We are a family who participate in events with Chris to assist him to live his best life possible. Chris always enjoyed storytelling as a child. We believe it helped him create a world where he had friends and encouraged interaction between the characters. Chris wrote his first book during his senior year in high school and continues to write today at 24. Chris has other talents as well. If you tell him the date of your birthday, he can tell you the day of the week that you were born on without using any technology. Chris is truly a joy to know.
