Fig-Get About it!

Our jam collection wouldn't be complete without paying homage to my Italian heritage and my maternal grandparents. I affectionately called them Nannie and Nunu. Ever since I was a little girl, I remember them having a fig tree proudly positioned in the backyard. Nunu made the best fig bars around. So many wonderful memories and recipes came from that delicate little fruit... and the tradition continues with me.
