I make artisan sourdough bread and sourdough cinnamon rolls.
I take orders and do a backporch pickup on my back porch in Nashville weekly and also am a vendor at my neighborhood farmers market in Crieve hall.

Hi, my name is Maryanna and I am the owner of Baked & Free.
I grew up Amish and was part of a family of nine kids!
From a very young age I remember helping out in the kitchen preparing food for our family ‘supper’.
I have always enjoyed being in the kitchen baking or cooking.
After I got married and had kids of my own I became passionate about creating healthy foods that sustain and nourish our bodies.
I believe that food has the ability to heal or harm our bodies.
In late 2020 I began experimenting with sourdough bread for my family and in the process had some extra and gifted it to some friends and neighbors. A few of those people asked if they could buy a loaf weekly and it went from 4 loaves a week to 8 loaves, etc and that’s how Baked & Free was born☺️
I’m passionate about using high quality ingredients (like the organic flour that’s shipped to Nashville from a small mill in NC for the bread that I make).
Food, family and community are some of the most important things in my life and I like to think that Baked & Free can play a small part in connecting those three things.
