Kulfi

Kulfi was founded by Kiran Cheema and Gagan Aulakh in 2019. Our mission was to create a high-quality ice cream that paid homage to our Indian roots and also resonated with first-generation South Asians, who like us, grew up in a blend of cultures. While some of our flavors celebrate our culture and traditions, others are simply just a nostalgic nod to our childhood. All of our recipes are created by Kiran and are hand-made in small batches in Portland. We focus on using high-quality ingredients and never add stabilizers, preservatives, gums, juices, flavors, or colors. We create quality desserts we’re proud to serve you!

Like the kulfi wallahs of India, we set out to serve kulfi to Portland out of our bike cart. Since then, we’ve added more carts to our fleet and now have a brick-and-mortar on NE Alberta.
