Wild Cat Country Fest Foundation is an 501C sponsoring the Country Foodie Festival featuring Hannah Dasher is an event scheduled for September 16th, 2023. Hannah Dasher is a TikTok Star with over 2 million followers. She is a country singer and a great cook and combines her two passions with terrific talent and humor. She will be the featured artist along with local Iowa musical talents Richard Arndt, the Kraft Brothers and Outlaw Country Express. There will also be 10 unique food trucks. Wild Cat Country Fest Foundation was formed to bring unique and fun entertainment experiences to the Jasper County and surrounding county residents. Our first ever event was held in downtown Newton Iowa June 2022 and we had 1000 attendees. We are gearing up for 1000 to 3000 attendees at the Quarry Springs Park this year.

Dana VanGilder, Dan Nieland and Juli Bak
Dana VanGilder and her husband own and operate the Newton KOA Campground and Alta House Event Center in Newton IA and also own the Timberline RV Campground in Waukee, IA. Dan Nieland works fo r ISU Extension office and he and his wife, Leesa own Nostalgia Wine Bar in Newton IA and manage the Maytag Hotel and Ballroom events and will soon be opening another Wine Bar in Pella IA. Juli Bak and her husband are retired, but active in the Newton Community as volunteers working with the local Elks Lodge and the Isaac Walton League. Juli serves as a principal board member and secretary/treasurer of Wild Cat Country Fest Foundation.
