I’m Endeah Canty, a local Detroit Children's Author and I’m also on a mission to inspire curious little minds to not only enjoy reading, but to also dream more, discover the world around us through diverse representation and storytelling from the viewpoint of a child.
I would like to introduce my book “The Magical Shell”, an award-winning fun and enchanting adventure. The Magical Shell is the catalyst for a journey exploring the power of imagination through a child’s lens. Empowering kids' imagination, encouraging them to explore the outdoors and most importantly fuel their confidence and self-identity through captivating tales and vibrant representative illustrations. I look forward to working with you all!
Endeah was born, raised, and resides in Southeast Michigan. Earning her B.A. from Grand Valley State
University, Endeah has a successful 15-year career in the automotive industry. Much of Endeah's time
is spent discovering life through the lens of her beautiful daughter's eyes, which inspires her books. When Endeah isn’t on the go, you will most likely find her listening to audio books, meditating or enjoying nature.
