Smitty Farms is an all organic farming operation that produces 100% organic oats in Hartley, IA. The goal of Smitty Farms is to produce a product that is gluten free, 100% organic, and provides an escape from toxic chemicals that we are exposed to far too often in our daily lives.

Hi, my name is Bennett Smith. I am a 19 year old boy that has graduated high school and I am about to attend Iowa State University in the fall. I am currently working on an organic row crop operation and am trying to market and sell organic oats. Every day on my hour drive to the farm, I pass by many farming operation that heavily rely on mass amounts of chemical to produce the same crop that we produce at our farm. It is my goal to bridge the gap of organic produce to the tables of consumers.
