MadeByLeanne is a zero waste 100% vegan mini everyday collection of casual fashion, jewelry, and homeware within my new brand, Humans We Love, which is vegan and zero waste couture and fine jewelry. Humans We Love launches this year after 13 years of running my first brand, VAUTE, which was the category creator of vegan fashion featured as "breaking runway history" by CNN, "a Gamechanger, embodying courage, creativity, and conviction" by Condé Nast, and featured by VOGUE, WWD, and as VegNews Magazine's Company of the Year.
Founder of MadeByLeanne (*brand new* zero waste collection made entirely by my hands in Portland), HumansWeLove (vegan zero waste couture with NYC Couturiers), and VAUTE (first vegan fashion house 2008-2020) and more - serial vegan entrepreneur who just moved to Portland from NYC after 13 years there -- vegan 23 years starting in the Chicago suburbs I remember when Silk Soymilk launched lol and it's been the best thing ever to watch the world change over the years to caring more about our animal friends and our beautiful Earth. All we can do is contribute the best we can, with who we are. I stopped eating animals when I was 10 in the Midwest in the 90s, everyone thought I was an alien then and stopped sitting with me at lunch, I never outgrew that feeling so I still get a huge joy out of meeting other animal lovers.
