We are Adam and Nicki Baird. Together, we make and sell hand made, heirloom quality kitchen and dining pieces. Our aim is to enable our customers to plan, prepare and present food at their table for their family and friends.
We are also passionate about fighting hunger in the USA. We make a donation that funds at least 10 meals through Feeding America for every order we receive.
We love living in east Tennessee near the mountains. We love being outside and we don't take the natural beauty that surrounds us for granted. We've designed our business to be intentional about sustainability.
This includes everything from sourcing our lumber to packaging and shipping our products.
We source as much of our lumber as we possibly can sustainably through local sources. Blow downs, tree removal services, and logs on the side of the road are our friends.
We use non-toxic finishes including flax seed oil and beeswax to finish all of our products.
Finally, any time we sell something - whether it be at a local farmer's market or craft show or to someone across the country - absolutely everything we use for packing and shipping is either recyclable or biodegradable. This includes everything from boxes to paper bags to shipping labels and packing tape.
Adam and Nicki Baird
We are a husband and wife team. We moved to East Tennessee due to our love of the outdoors. Adam creates all of our products by hand at our home near Maryville. Nicki love to help in the workshop whenever possible and she curates all of our social media content. If we aren't in the shop, we are out hiking with our two toddlers in tow.
