Mauser Leather

My name is Willem, I am the founder of Mauser Leather. I am originally from South Africa and I’ve been making leather goods since 2016. I started the business while I was still in high school and since I moved to the USA I have the opportunity to grow my business since I don’t have school work holding me back. When it comes to how I make my products, I focus on traditional techniques like saddle stitching (hand stitching) and using solid copper rivets. I source the vegetable tanned leather I use from Wickett & Craig tannery in PA. I strive to use USA made leather and materials. I focus primarily on wallets, briefcases, backpacks, handbags and belts. All my products come with a lifetime warranty because the quality of leather are use in addition to the techniques I use to put the bags together, produces a product that will outlive you and can be passed down from generation to generation. I truly believe that it is more sustainable and cheaper over the longrun to buy one truly high quality product instead of multiple cheap products over the course of time. I believe that I can be a good addition to the market since I always have good stories to tell about life in South Africa and about what I do and I am truly passionate about the products I put out on the market to sell. I can put a smile on people’s faces even if they don’t buy the products I offer. Thank you for hearing my story.
