Hideaway Blooms is a quaint mobile plant shop based out of a vintage 1976 Airstream. In addition to offering indoor, locally sourced plants, we also create homemade pottery, jewelry, candles and watercolor prints. We also resell various home decor items such as planters, paper goods, tote bags and plant parent accessories.
Hi everyone, my name is Melanie and I have a love of all things plants, art and being outdoors. I recently purchased a 1976 vintage Airstream with the dreams of creating a mobile plant shop that also includes home decor, homemade pottery and art. I have a full time job currently so my goal is to take Hideaway Blooms to weekend markets, trade days and fairs.
My love of art and pottery comes from my Grandparents who owned their own pottery and art studio until my Grandmother passed away in 2021. I was always so proud of them for creating a career from their passion. They always encouraged me to follow my heart and I am finally ready to do so.
My hope is to someday be able to open a brick and mortar store front that also includes a space for workshops and classes. I would love to create a shop that feels authentic and filled with natural beauty found within plants and art.
