Severessence™ Distilling Co is a woman-owned Florida Craft Spirits brand founded in 2022 on the pillars of passion, innovation, and dedication to excellence in every detail from concept to bottle to provide you with the finest spirits.
From the debut of our Severance Gins at the FCSA Sunshine Spirits Festival in Jacksonville, Fl, in October 2022, to the upcoming release of our Biki’s™ Rum line, we are continually striving to provide high quality, unique, hand crafted creations that take advantage of local ingredients that proudly showcase nature’s rich bounty around us. Victoria is a passionate research engineer and scientist with decades of experience leading teams on the forefront of cutting-edge technologies. Holding an advanced degree in chemical engineering with extensive training in microbiology, she is a “Jack of all trades” who thrives on innovation driven by creativity. During the pandemic, Victoria was drawn to the world of spirits with its rich history, cultural significance, and seemingly infinite possibilities to craft new flavor profiles. She took the opportunity to share her enthusiasm by founding Severessence™ Distilling Co, leveraging her keen interest in mixology combined with technical and scientific expertise to offer a unique perspective for creating fresh offerings of uncompromising quality and unparalleled experience.
When not developing formulas to delight the palate or on the floor producing hand crafted spirits from grain to bottle, she continues to be active in the scientific community as a freelance medical writer, enjoys travel, spending time with friends and family, is a published children’s book author and blogger, nature photographer, and a supporter of the local arts community.
