Meet Deseree & Eryn, friends of 20 years. One day, they decided to take their friendship to the next level: they became business partners. Eryn knew how to make candles. Deseree had relationship building and sales in her blood. Both were deeply enamored with their native home, Idaho, and needed to exercise their entrepreneurial and creative muscles. Viola! In August 2018, Idaho Candle Company was born in a North End kitchen.
In 2020 these two women buckled down and completely changed their brand to fit their vision with a commitment to source only ethical and Made In America products. Idaho Candle Company has come a long way since that hot Boise summer, but the promise to our planet and local business has grown by leaps and bounds.
In addition to supporting local businesses through collaborative campaigns, the ladies contribute to many nonprofits to benefit local domestic violence networks, food banks, interfaith shelters, breast cancer outreach, green initiatives, and social justice organizations.
